ANTONUS LOGIC OR

The Antonus logic OR module is designed to offer two OR gates in compact format, only 2HP and 30mm depth. Even compact the design take care of space and clearance. One of Antonus design rules for Eurorack is to keep a balance between compactness and playability looking for avoid excessive compression and problems for manual tweaking that was overcoming usual at the Eurorack world.

The special features among the narrow space is that are designed with discrete transistors to work with high logic levels and  be able to interact with vintage instruments that need high gate levels of +10v. Being Antonus based in two main classic designs like the 2600 and Step Brother this modules are designed to work perfect in high levels.  Also is compatible with all the Eurorack modules of the market of course.

Every logic gate have the output and the related NOT output which sends the inverted logic signal. This means they are OR and NOR, both signals available simultaneously.

And another special feature is the reversible connection of the NOR output. It works in bidirectional way. Can be used as OR output or can be used as input, turning it in NOT gate using the negated output.

Also experiments can be done combining the OR A and B inputs and using the reversible output as Input for making exotic logic table with (A∨B)∧(-C)

Being discrete transistor based is compatible with high frequencies so you can send audio to the inputs and experiment with metallic strange modulations. The transistors curves makes some subtle effects in audio rate modulations, so feel free to experiment with more than simple square waves during audio modulations!

Also can be used only for Gate Booster purposes for the synths and modules that need high Gate levels.

Use the different possibilities with the two parts for very complex logic or audio processing
