ANTONUS BUFFERED MULTIPLE
The Antonus Buffered Multiple module consist of 2 normalised active buffers for split 1 signal into 3 or 6 outputs. It is designed to work with audio and cv lines. This design uses low offset hi-quality opamps to ensure zero offset, free of noise, and perfect scale among the range up to +/- 14v volts
Very useful for example using very precise pitch cv lines and need to ensure the best tracking in each VCO regardless the load of more or less plugged modules. Don’t need to readjust if some modules is added or removed in the path.
Another very useful feature is sending different clock signals to different modules or setups. If some line is used wrong, shorting to ground or something it will not affect the rest of clock copies. In traditional passive multiples if one cable is shorted to ground it will cancel all the clock signal attached to the passive multiple. But in active buffer each clock copy and the original signal are protected against shorting or attenuations for excessive load.
You can use 1 to 6 outputs just using the input 1 and don’t using the input 2. Using input 2 it breaks the pre patched connection with input 1 making two independent 1 to 3 active multiples.
Even being compact module, the design take care of space and clearance. One of Antonus design rules for Eurorack is to keep a balance between compactness and playability, for example manual controls like knobs, looking for avoid excessive compression and problems for manual tweaking that was overcoming usual at the Eurorack world.
Strong polarized power socket for ensure best perfomance and safe and easy connection unlike other modules with narrow single line and non polarized connector.
